- Remove the seeds with the tip of a knife;
- Place the fruits in a glass, add sugar, and muddle;
- Add the ice and cachaça;
- Mix well with a spoon or cocktail shaker;
- Pour into a glass and enjoy.
4. Pickled Biri-biri
Ingredients
- Biri-biri
- Salt
- Apple cider vinegar
- Garlic
- Water
Instructions
- Boil enough water in a pot to cover the amount of fruit used;
- When the water starts boiling, turn off the heat;
- Place the biri-biri into the hot water and let it rest for 2 minutes;
- Drain and transfer to the pickling jar;
- Add salt to taste;
- Add the peeled garlic cloves;
- Cover the mixture with apple cider vinegar;
- Seal the jar and it is ready to eat.
5. Frozen Biri-biri Treat
Ingredients
- 10 biri-biri fruits
- 200 grams of powdered milk
- 500 grams of sugar
- ½ tablespoon of emulsifier
Instructions
- Remove the ends of the biri-biri, cut in half, and remove the seeds;
- Blend the fruit with the emulsifier in a blender and transfer to a bowl;
- Blend the powdered milk and sugar in the blender and pour into the bowl;
- Mix with a spoon;
- Pour the mixture into freezer pop bags;
- Freeze until firm.
6. Biri-biri Mousse
Ingredients
- 6 large biri-biri fruits
- 1 box of condensed milk
- 1 box of heavy cream
- 1 packet of unflavored gelatin
Instructions
- Prepare the gelatin according to the package instructions;
- Blend only the fruit in a blender and strain;
- Blend the gelatin, strained biri-biri juice, condensed milk, and cream together;
- Blend for 5 minutes and transfer to a container;
- Refrigerate until firm before serving.

- 1 kg of tilapia
- 500 ml of coconut milk
- 300 grams of biri-biri
- Palm oil
- Annatto powder
- Onion
- Garlic
- Tomato
- Salt
