In some cases, it includes egg whites, in others hydrogenated fat, meaning there's a lot of room for variation in the ingredients. Intrigued? Then see how to make this sweet treat at home:

  • 3 egg whites.

2. Simple marble glaze with lemon

Ingredients

  • 900 g of icing sugar;
  • 250 g of vegetable fat;
  • 1 strained lemon.

Preparation method

  • Before starting the recipe, if you can't find icing sugar, simply blend granulated sugar in a blender and sift it through;
  • So, it's time to start preparing. In a mixer, beat together the vegetable shortening, 400g of powdered sugar, and the lemon juice;
  • Once the texture is smooth, set aside one cup, which can be used as the first layer of frosting for a cake;
  • Next, gradually add more sugar. At this stage, you should mix the glaze with a spatula;
  • Once the texture becomes firmer, it's time to mix it with your hands until all the sugar is incorporated.
