  • 1/2 kg of wheat flour
  • 1 glass of warm water
  • 30 g of fresh yeast
  • 1/2 cup of soybean oil
  • 3 teaspoons of salt

  • Tomato sauce
  • Sliced mozzarella
  • Ground Calabrese sausage
  • Basil
  • Oregano
  • Black olives

Preparation method

  • In a bowl, start by dissolving the yeast in warm water, then add the oil, salt, and sugar;
  • Gradually add the flour and mix with your hands until you obtain a smooth dough;
  • Knead the dough until smooth and air bubbles appear, then cover with a cloth and let it rest for about 40 minutes.
  • Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough, place it in greased molds, and add the tomato sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, basil, and oregano;
  • In a preheated oven, bake for about 20 minutes, then add the olives and serve.

  • Divide the dough into pieces, roll each piece out, place in greased molds, and prick with a fork to prevent bubbles from forming.
  • Take the filling from the pan, spread it over the dough, add the mozzarella, some more tomatoes, the olives, and the scallions;
  • In an oven preheated to 180 degrees, bake the pizza until the crust is golden brown and the mozzarella is melted;
  • Slice and serve.

  • Ready-made pizza dough

  • 500g of Tuscan sausage

Preparation method

  • In a bowl, mix the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt well;
  • Add the butter, the egg, 100 ml of milk and mix until the dough becomes like flour, then add the remaining milk;
  • Knead the dough with your hands until it becomes smooth, then separate it into small balls and knead them some more.
  • Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rest for 1 hour and 30 minutes;
  • In a pan with olive oil, add the sausage without the fat casing and sauté until it begins to brown;
  • Next, add the tomato, onion, and cilantro, and sauté everything together.
  • Finally, add the tomato pulp and salt to finish the sauce;
  • Take the dough, roll it out into four discs using a rolling pin, and set aside;
  • Grease a round baking dish, place one of the dough portions inside, add the filling from the pan, and top with mozzarella cheese.
  • Place another layer of dough on top, sealing the edges, and add more filling with mozzarella cheese on top.
  • Cover this layer with another layer of dough, joining the edges of all of them;
  • Using a pizza cutter, cut into 16 slices, but without cutting all the way through, as the center will form the base of the star;
  • Take the slices, one by one, and rotate each slice to one side, alternating between right and left;
  • Brush the dough with egg, add oregano, and bake in a preheated oven for about 30 minutes, then serve.

Ingredients for the dough

  • 1/3 cup of warm water
  • 10 g of biological yeast
  • 2 cups of wheat flour

  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
