MY REVIEW
I have had a lot of toasters, but this one really has some great features.
Broil high and low, toasting, bake, convection, bagel, and what else can I say. Breville makes a nice toaster. It will fit a small round Tombstone or similar pizza, which is sweet.
I have 2 of these toasters. One is 3 years old and the other almost a year. Usually, the temperature setting’s get wonky after a few years, but I haven’t seen that yet. There is a nice pullout at the bottom for crumbs. I am still able to clean the glass. Good temperature control on these units, running a little bit warmer than the setting display by 10 degrees.
It’s also not a huge toaster and fits nicely on the counter at 15"Deep 16" Wide and about 10" high, to its furthest points. INTERIOR dimensions are different at 12" X 12". 4.25" high. The dials are easy to learn.

MY REVIEW
I wanted to also offer a review of this little oven because it works so well.
I bought this oven primarily to make toast. I have been cycling through numerous toasters that have been extremely disappointing in terms of toast quality — the toast is uneven and patchy, often one side isn’t even toasted, English muffins need to be flipped and toasted twice, and so on.
So, I searched the internet for reviews of toasters and found an excellent article in a trusted newspaper in which they reviewed toasters and toaster ovens. Long story short, the article recommended this little oven as the best oven for making great toast, so I took a chance. Overall, this oven is outstanding both as a toaster and for warming/cooking food.
As mentioned above, I mostly use it for toast (I cook larger items in my air fryer oven). What do I love about this toaster? First, it’s small in size so it doesn’t take up much more room than my 4-slice toaster did. Second, and most important, it makes GREAT toast and is twice as fast as any toaster I’ve ever used. Truly, the toast is made in lighting speed due to the double radiant lights. Third, I love that the toaster lights up inside (bright) while toasting so that I can see the toast get darker and can stop it a few seconds earlier if needed.
I also like the small “ding” when the toast is finished (there is also a timer that shows how long the item will take).
Fourth, it’s super easy to use, push the ON button, push the TOAST button, and (if desired) push a button to increase or decrease darkness. The toast comes out gorgeous — evenly brown, crispy, and toasted well on BOTH sides!! Finally, I love that the oven will fit 4 small standard pieces of bread or two very large/long slices (sourdough, corn rye).
The toast shown in the photos is an over-sized slice of rye bread that used to stick out of the top of my old toaster (and needed to be flipped to fully toast). Amazing! Other items cook equally well and fast — reheated pizza slices and frozen snacks (this is what I’ve tried so far). Bottom line, I highly recommend this little oven even if you only use it for toast.
3. Black+Decker 4-Slice Toaster Oven with Natural Convection - Popular pick
The Black+Decker 4-Slice Toaster Oven with Natural Convection is a budget-friendly choice that doesn’t compromise on quality or functionality.
Designed to deliver even cooking with its natural convection feature, this toaster oven circulates air within to produce faster, more consistent results. Perfect for RVs, it’s compact but spacious enough to fit four slices of bread or a 9-inch pizza, making it ideal for preparing small meals on the go.
The 1500-watt toaster oven has four cooking functions — bake, broil, toast, and keep warm — making it adaptable for various cooking needs. Its stainless steel construction is durable, and the removable crumb tray makes it easy to clean after each use. This toaster oven’s simplicity and affordability make it an excellent choice for RVers who need a reliable, versatile appliance that doesn’t take up too much space or break the bank.
MY REVIEW
It works but the toast function is too strong.
I haven’t had a toaster oven since the turn of the century (university days) when I accidentally melted the plastic bag of sliced bread placed next to it.
This time I have the counter space and know to keep plastic away from it! So far it works to heat up pizza and make cheesy garlic bread and not heat our entire house with using our actual oven. The outside gets hot: it is all metal. Do not leave plastic material anywhere near it, and try to be in the same room when it’s on to keep an eye on it (easier if you are using it in an open-concept area).
The inside tray is tiny: 9 inches, and the inside is slightly more than 10 inches. I cut a silicone mat to fit inside the included tray. I may eventually buy a separate tray with rack just for this in the future.
The toast function burns the corners of our toast however; it is too powerful! And I don’t have a dedicated toaster. It is advertised to fit four slices of bread on the tray, however I found that it only fit two comfortably at a time. All in all, great if you need a powerful / quick toaster for your RV.

MY REVIEW
I just plugged in this Hamilton Beach toaster/convection oven and I am VERY pleased. It is wider than my old toaster oven but I love the fact that it is only 9.5" high.
I live in an older manufactured home and this fits perfectly under my cabinets and the roll top door is an added convenience! I have only used it once, for baking and it was perfect. It pre-heats quickly and cooked my dinner very evenly (chicken, veggies). For anyone with a smaller kitchen, or smaller family (1 or 2) this is a great countertop oven.

Its convenient dial controls make it simple to operate, and the automatic shutoff feature offers additional safety, a valuable aspect for RV kitchens.
MY REVIEW
This sleek stainless steel toaster oven performs exceptionally well, delivering perfect toast and precise temperature control.
It’s user-friendly, making it a great addition to any kitchen. However, the absence of a built-in timer is a notable drawback; without it, there’s a risk of overcooking food if you forget to monitor the time.
I rely on my iPhone’s timer to avoid this issue, but it would be more convenient if the oven had an automatic shut-off feature. While I’m adapting to this workaround, I might hesitate to repurchase due to the lack of a timer. If it included this functionality, it would undoubtedly earn a five-star rating.
How to Choose the Best Toaster Oven for Your RV
Size and Capacity: Fit Your RV Kitchen Perfectly
When choosing a toaster oven for your RV, size and capacity are crucial considerations. RV kitchens have limited counter space, so look for a compact, space-saving toaster oven that fits easily in your designated area. Make sure it can accommodate your meal requirements, whether it’s reheating leftovers or cooking for multiple people. Models that fit four to six slices of bread or a small pizza offer a good balance between compactness and functionality, making them ideal for RV living.
Cooking Functions: Opt for Versatility on the Road
For RV life, a toaster oven with multiple cooking functions can replace several other appliances, saving both space and power. Look for options with settings like bake, broil, toast, reheat, and convection to cook various meals without needing additional gadgets. A versatile toaster oven will let you cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner options with ease, making it a highly functional choice for small RV kitchens.
Power Efficiency: Manage Energy Consumption
Power efficiency is essential in an RV toaster oven since most RVs run on limited power sources. Look for models with 1200 to 1800 watts of power to ensure they can cook meals quickly without drawing excessive power. Energy-efficient models are better suited for mobile living, helping you manage energy use, especially if you’re relying on battery power or solar setups.
Safety Features: Prioritize Security in Mobile Spaces
Safety features are essential when choosing a toaster oven for an RV, as movement during travel increases the risk of spills or burns. Look for features like auto-shutoff, which prevents overheating if you forget to turn it off. Other features like stay-cool exteriors and non-slip feet add safety by preventing accidental burns and keeping the unit stable on countertops, even during travel.
Ease of Cleaning: Keep Maintenance Simple on the Go
For convenience, choose a toaster oven that’s easy to clean. Look for models with removable crumb trays, non-stick interiors, or doors that are easy to access and wipe down. Since RVs often have limited water and space for cleaning, low-maintenance designs will save you time and effort on the road. Removable parts and non-stick coatings simplify the cleaning process, making it easier to keep your RV kitchen tidy and ready for the next meal.
