MY REVIEW
I seriously cannot believe that I was able to bake a full sized loaf of bread using my cast iron bread loaf pan (AND I realize now that I can fit TWO cast iron loaf pans comfortably if I want to) — it came out perfect.
I tried the convection mode and foil for the last 10 minutes (but i had to do foil in my regular oven anyway). I will invest in a Dutch oven with a cover (I’ve been meaning to buy one anyway) — then I won’t need the foil at all anymore. Cookies came out GREAT no burnt bottoms — crispy and chewy and PERFECT. The french doors are an aesthetic bonus, and they are functional — they both open at the same time, which is nice.
The unit is sturdy/built well and nice looking and has a THREE PRONG plug — which for safety reasons I passed on another popular brand with very similar features (and slightly roomier) with French doors — the two prong plug was a NO for me, regardless of the extra space. Anyway, it is a GREAT toaster oven, the knob and buttons are very distinct and easy to use (not like the electronic “pads” some toaster ovens have) — which I don’t like too much, while at the same time, offering most of the same up to date features.
I don’t understand the criticisms regarding the knob and buttons not being “intuitive” (it does not operate via AI??? — they are simple, straightforward, and easy to use — honestly) I am very picky, and I love this toaster oven for the purposes I need it — and it looks elegant on my kitchen counter with a small footprint for what it handles. It was a great buy:) More than satisfied on this end:)

MY REVIEW
I’ve own the microwave combo unit for 2 months now and my attitude towards this microwave has changed. I know, truly believe, this is a great microwave.
I’ve had a chance to air fry multiple chicken wings meals, convection cook sirloins steaks, convection bake a chocolate cake, convection cook both a store bought frozen pizza and a from-scratch homemade pizza, defrost both chicken and beef, microwave bacon, microwave a potato, and sensor cook/reheat a Hungry-Man frozen tv dinner.
I promise each one of these items were cooked to my satisfaction. I did overcook some items and I did undercook some items. But I was persistent and eventually learned the right combination of time and temperature. I have since gotten over the power consumption issue and focused more on the useability of the microwave. I am completely happy now.
One more thing is I have learned how put a cup of lemon juice water in the microwave and microwave it for 6 minutes. It makes cleaning oil, grease, and any stuck on particles easier to wipe or scrub off.

MY REVIEW
We killed one of our other microwave last month. I had toyed with getting an air fryer but we don’t have much counter space.
Enter the AirFry/Microwave combos. I grabbed this one because of the many things it does and the many fine reviews.
It measures up to all its tasks. The microwave function itself has come a long way. So even cooking and quiet. Love that the turntable is connected to a piece that is attached to the bottom. No more having the turntable flopping off until you get it lined up with those little nubs. It has less power than our previous microwave but it cooks faster and much more evenly.
I just tried the air fry setting and it is a new world.. Perhaps all of them cook chicken breast pieces to this level of tenderness but I was amazed at the flavor and how crisp they were after 5 minutes.
I have not tried the broil feature yet nor have I tried toast. That heat element does work with the air fryer so I will assume it has those things well. I guess since it has the broiler feature that that is why it has the extra insulation. Very easy to clean after it has been on. One good surprise after another. Quiet and competent.
The only thing I would have liked would have been some kind of manual to use if you have never done convection or air fry. I would also add what others have added: the controls are a bit hard to see. I will write them up and tape them somewhere on the side.
Other than that I am very happy with the price and the performance as well as the size for what it holds. It is a keeper.

MY REVIEW
The best part about this brand of microwave is that it works — no hassle.
My first Panasonic Inverter lasted 15 years. Replaced it b/c I wanted a smaller one. Gave it away to a coworker who says it’s still working 5 years later. Still looks new. So, instead doing the smart thing + buying another one, I bought a Toshiba based on the over 15k reviews. First one came dented. Sent back. Reordered and hated it. Cheaply made, door was noisy to open + close and within a year had to throw it in a dumpster. The back blistered and the inside was stained (could never get any food stain to go away). Idk if I just got a bad one or not, but this Panasonic is hands down a superior machine.
-
Pros: minimalist look, no handle, easy to use, reheat option — did I mention it works??? My fridge + stove are black stainless, but my dishwasher is reg stainless, and the microwave sits right above it on the counter.
I was thinking about replacing the dishwasher to match the rest, but the microwave kind of pulls it together, + the look is aesthetically pleasing now, so saved some $ there. - Cons: in dim light, the operating panel is harder to see, and I still haven’t figured out how to permanently disable the child lock, but tbf, I haven’t spent any time reading the manual other than having to press 0 to open the door. I think that a child safety lock should be something you have to purposefully activate, not come already enabled.
So, if you want a reliable, attractive, microwave that has an inverter and multiple cooking options, I cannot recommend Panasonic enough. The LG models are more expensive and aren’t nearly as attractive. I was tempted to buy the small Breville, but reviews were mixed. Btw…if it matters, Panasonic is one of the few microwave brands that isn’t made in China. That was a nice bonus for me.
I’ve had this model a month with no issues. Some ppl didn’t like the dark gray interior, but I do. It’s different and makes it look more expensive than it is. Honestly, if I became a millionaire overnight, I’d still buy Panasonic microwaves. They’ve never let me down.

How to Choose a Microwave for Small Spaces
When selecting a compact microwave for limited counter space, consider these key factors:
Size and Capacity
Measure your available space carefully. Look for microwaves under 20" wide and 12" tall. Ensure the interior can fit your typical dishes, like mugs or dinner plates
Wattage and Power
For small microwaves, expect 700–900 watts. Higher wattage generally means faster cooking times, but compact models are often less powerful.
Features
Consider these useful functions:
- Quick-start buttons
- Defrost and reheat modes
- Mute option for quieter operation
- Child safety lock
Advanced features like steam sensors are less common in compact models.
Energy Efficiency
Look for Energy Star certified models to reduce power consumption and save on electricity bills.
Design and Aesthetics
Choose a style that complements your kitchen decor. Some compact microwaves offer sleek designs with minimal controls.
Brand Reliability
Research brands known for durability and good customer service. Popular compact microwave brands include GE, Toshiba, and Panasonic.
Price Range
Budget-friendly options are available under $100, while premium compact models can cost over $200.
Cooking Performance
Prioritize models with even heating and consistent defrosting capabilities. Read user reviews to gauge real-world performance.
Additional Functionality
Some compact microwaves offer extra features like:
- Smart connectivity
- Voice control compatibility
- Inverter technology for more precise cooking
Consider these factors to find the perfect compact microwave that will fit your small space, while meeting your cooking needs.
