I bought this set of knives as my friend recommended the set after our new home purchase.
It has a variety of knives that are very useful for every cooking in the kitchen and my wife loves them. The blades are quite sharp, and the handles are comfortable to grip. The only thing I would have loved to change is the number of steak knives included.
It comes with 6 steak knives and we do not have much use for these as we don’t consume steak but found other uses for these. I would have liked more of the utility knives to go with this set. Added sharpening rod is quite handy and easy to use. Overall for a family of 4 or more this is a great addition to the kitchen.

Great for veggies. I have another santoku knife, and I love the santoku style, but my other one is a bit large. This one is absolutely perfect in size. Its just right! I’ve been using it as my go-to for nearly every veg prep in my kitchen since I got it.
Its plenty sharp, no heavy cutting or effort needed. It slices right through veggies, including ripe tomato skin, which I consider to be one of the hallmarks of a good knife sharpness.Size is truly just what I need. And for my kitchen knifes, I personally don’t need them all to match.

The knife holder fits neatly tucked under my cabinets, right next to my knife block. And with Amazon’s crazy super-fast shipping these days, I got everything just in time to use it while preparing for my big Halloween BBQ party. So, only three knives out of the gate to start, but they worked flawlessly. The paring knife sliced (for sausage and peppers) and chopped (for jambalaya) my peppers for me.
I know those fancy chefs use the big blade, but I like my fingers, so I take the coward’s path.The carving blade made quick work of my flank steak (for Mongolian beef). And there’s that good ol’ chef’s blade slicing and then cubing my watermelon (for my handmade fruit salad).Plus! The knife sharpener.
