– Day 1 –

We recommend you start the day in the most British heart of London: the Palace of Westminster (1) , with the famous Big Ben tower (2) , although it is currently under construction and will not show its best face again until 2021.
From here, if you are early, it is best to visit Westminster Abbey (3) , which is within walking distance (you can book a visit to the Abbey here ). And get to see the changing of the guard (remember it is at 11.30 in the morning!).
If for one reason or another it's already getting late (the plane arrived late, you overslept, you had to go back to the hotel to put on another layer of clothing), a good idea is to visit the British Museum (4) , where time will fly by with so many interesting works and objects (you can join this free tour of the British Museum .
For the evening, the best plan is in the Soho district , one of the liveliest in the city. There you will enjoy Trafalgar Square (5) , Piccadilly Circus (6) and lots and lots of partying. After enjoying a few relaxing hours, change the scenery completely in Camden Town (4) . It is the most alternative, rock, punk, metal heart of London, where you can stroll among colorful stalls and find some gems. If it is time to fill your stomach, take advantage of it, the street food offer is large and very tasty.
