1. The best beaches and coves in Ibiza

Ibiza has some of the most beautiful beaches and coves in all of Europe (and the world). Cala Conte, Es Portixol, Cala Salada and Cala d'Hort are some of them. If you want to know more, here is a post with the best beaches and coves in Ibiza . Don't forget the sunscreen, ehhhhh.

Discover all the tours, excursions and boat trips you can take during your stay on the island. Info and prices here .

2. Ibiza markets

Hippie markets , ladies and gentlemen! If you travel to Ibiza, you have to discover at least one. Our favourite? Las Dalias (in San Carles) although the truth is that there are many, so if you are going to be there for several days, it is best to make a route to visit several.

3. Corona Valley

If you visit Ibiza between January and March you can enjoy the almond blossoms of the Corona Valley . Yes, there is life in Ibiza beyond the summer 😉

4. Benirrás Beach (sunset)

On Sunday evening, head to Benirrás Beach , where the curious drum festival takes place (we think the name is already quite clear). It will make your hair stand on end. And the best thing is that the sunset from here is amazing (in fact, you will experience one of the best sunsets in Ibiza).

5. Pirate Tower

But when it comes to sunset, the best is undoubtedly the one you can see from the Torre del Pirata . The moment when the sun sets behind the islet of Es Vedrá is simply magical. One of the best things to see in Ibiza without a doubt!

6. It will be seen

And since we're talking about the  Es Vedrá rock , many say that this place has a special energy and there are legends surrounding it. If you want to go and see for yourself, take a boat trip . Or rent your own boat with or without a skipper (from €50!) and embark on a sea adventure on your own.

7. Going out to party, something you must do in Ibiza

Go out and party ! We've already told you that Ibiza isn't just about parties and clubs. But if there's one thing it's famous for, it's about having a great time when the sun goes down! The most popular clubs are Amnesia, Pacha, Privilege, Usuahia or Hï Ibiza, although…

8. Flower Power

We continue with the list of things to see and do in Ibiza with what, for us, is one of the most fun parties in Ibiza: Flower Power , which takes place on Mondays at Pachá. Dress up in hippie clothes, put on some flowers and flashy glasses and get ready to dance to hits from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s (if we want to be old and vintage like Sailor Mooooooon).

9. Route of beautiful villages

Rent a moped and visit some of the most beautiful Ibizan villages on a day trip.  Santa Eulalia , San Antonio , San José and San Juan are all great options.

San Antonio is one of the main towns for exploring Ibiza's coastline from the sea. Fancy it? We've got two plans for you:

  • Rent a boat without needing a license (perfect if you are traveling in a group to split the costs, plus they start at €50!)
  • 3-hour boat trip through the coves

10. Historic center of Evissa (Dalt Vila)

But first, take a stroll around the historic centre of Ibiza  (Dalt Vila). But be prepared first, because you're going to have to climb up and down a few hills. Although the effort will be worth it, the centre is full of little shops, restaurants and charming corners. It's no coincidence that it's a World Heritage Site and for us it's another of the best places to visit on the island of Ibiza.

11. Mud bath

Do you want to take a mud bath and have skin as soft as a peach that has just fallen from the tree? (Although the peach has hair and your bum doesn't - I hope). Go to Cala Xarraca, Sa Caleta, or Aigues Blanques. The best thing: it's free!

12. Typical gastronomy of Ibiza

Try the typical cuisine, such as arroz de matanzas (with pork), country salad with peppers and potatoes, coca de pimientos, bullit (fish with rice and potatoes) or flaó (cottage cheese and mint cake).

13. Cafe del Mar

Leave a kidney (and a little bit of your heart) at Café del Mar , while you drink a mojito (€15) and listen to chill out music. This place is a classic in Ibiza, but if you don't feel like spending the money to enjoy the sunset here (which is VERY typical)... there are so many places to go 😉

14. Can Marçà Cave, one of the most beautiful places to see in Ibiza

An interesting excursion to do in Ibiza is the one that takes you to discover the beautiful Can Marçà cave , which is more than 100,000 years old. There are excursions that allow you to discover this curious little corner for around €30.

⭐ Here we tell you 7 original plans to do in Ibiza to get off the typical tourist route.

15. Snorkeling in Ibiza

Put on your snorkel mask and head into the water! In Ibiza you can snorkel among meadows of posidonia oceanica and cute little fish (although not very colourful, to be honest). This is without a doubt one of the best things to do in Ibiza with children: they will be amazed when they discover the seabed. But even without children, the underwater world drives everyone crazy.

16. Phoenician sites

Did you know that you can visit some Phoenician sites in Ibiza? Perhaps the most famous are the Puig des Molins necropolis and the Phoenician village of Sa Caleta . And if you like cave art, we recommend visiting the Ses Fontanelles cave .

17. Punta des Moscarter Lighthouse

Go to the photogenic Punta des Moscarter lighthouse and take a photo straight to Instagram, wearing the obligatory white dress… of course (well, if you're a guy you can skip the last step).

18. Ses Salines Natural Park

Visit the Ses Salines Natural Park , a protected area where salt and beaches are the main attractions. It is located just 9 km from the city of Eivissa.

19. Stone arch of Cala Aubarca, something curious and original to see in Ibiza

One of the most curious places in Ibiza is the stone arch of Cala Aubarca . A perfect place for photography lovers, and it is not as well known as other places on the island.

20. Excursion to Formentera

If you still have time in Ibiza and you fancy visiting another Balearic island, head to Formentera . The beaches here are spectacular and it's best to spend at least a whole day there, but if you can stay longer, even better.

⭐ Here we tell you what to do in Formentera . You can get there by ferry, here we tell you how to get to Formentera from Ibiza , or on an excursion like this one .

Don't leave the island without trying some of the typical dishes of the Balearic Islands... and better yet, without spending an arm and a leg, right? Well, here we recommend a few restaurants where you can eat cheap and really well in Ibiza .

How to get to Ibiza

If you're wondering what the best way to get to Ibiza is, we think the best way to get there is by plane and avoid any hassle. However, you can also get there by sea. Here we tell you how to get to Ibiza by ferry .
